Passion Story I
In the BeginningIn July 2011, after visiting Gambia for the first time for international missions, TAF decided to visit South Africa (SA) later that same year, once a reliable contact was established in the country. Our founders together with one other young lady called Abena Akuamoah seized the opportunity and went for the mission trip. The following year, our founders together with a team of 5 young people went to South Africa for a short-term mission. In June 2015, David Kojo Abban was posted to SA as the first ever TAF SA country director. After his term of office, a replacement was not got immediately. However, visits were made there each year for short term missions until Joseph Abosi (who had been there a couple of times for short term missions) was posted there in May, 2021 to serve as the new country director. Joseph is still the current country director of TAF SA.
