Our Passion Story
When K.K. Baidoo perceived the need of teens for a youthfully intense fellowship similar to what they enjoyed in SHS, he started a bible study course in 2004 to fulfill that need. After running the course with two graduate classes, all the students expressed an excitement for more. Therefore, the graduate class of 2005 was excited with a reason to continue to fellowship- this time to produce and sell a full color Christian magazine! On the lights out evening of 8th October 2005, K.K. Baidoo with the help of Godfred Odei Boateng, gathered a group of young people together in the basement of Mt. Olivet Methodist Church, Dansoman to hold the first official meeting. Today, K.K and Godfred with their wives, Valeria and Mavis respectively continue to touch thousands of young people globally with one message: “God has a purpose for you so get serious to catch it and spread the good news!”
As a para-church youth ministry, our heart is to come alongside churches to provide support in ministering to teenagers and engaging with missions around the world. For this reason, our youth ministry has partners different denominations and has chosen to remain officially unaffiliated with any one specifically. Instead, we remain committed to coming alongside local churches when providing events, camps, mission trips, and any opportunities that ultimately facilitate life-changing encounters, leadership training for teens, and resources for parents and church leaders. We believe strongly in creating and focusing on unity within the Body of Christ and that to truly make a difference in the lives of the largest teenage generation in history, we must work together.
Our mission and vision
Our vision
To challenge a young generation to believe in their gifted purpose and passionately pursue Jesus Christ to take His life-giving message to the ends of the earth.
Our mission
To accomplish our vision, we set out to worship God intimately whilst using our talents and energies as young people to promote the gospel globally primarily to other young people through relevant modern ministries and events.
Core Values
FAITH
We dare to trust God’s word as having unseen creative power to deliver tangible results. (Hebrews 11:1).
LOVE
We see each other as Christ saw us to give His life to us. (1 Jn 4:20-21).
INTEGRITY
We are the righteousness of God so our lives in secret reflect what we profess. (Ephesians 5:8, Proverbs 11:3).
VISION
We are quick to forget the yesterday in order to focus on the new and bigger things God is always doing. (Philippians 3:13).
PURPOSE
We believe that before we were born, God created us in Christ Jesus to fulfill a sure assignment on earth. (Ephesians 2:10).
LOYALTY
We believe that Faithfulness, Availability and Teachability are key requirements for discipleship. (Ruth 1:16)
TEENSPIRATION
We believe that God has a special plan for Teenagers and young people for that matter in these times, so we focus on reaching them especially. (Matthew 19:14).
EXCELLENCE
We demand of ourselves uncompromising quality and strive to be people who demonstrate the God standard in everything we do (Colossians 3:23).Our Statement of Faith
1. We believe the Bible to be the inspired, only infallible, authoritative Word of God.
2. We believe that there is one God eternally existent in three persons: The Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
3. We believe in the deity of Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, and in His personal return in power and glory.
4. We believe in the present day works of the Holy Spirit to inspire and empower believers to be effective followers of Jesus Christ.
5. We believe in the resurrection of the saved to eternal life, and the everlasting punishment of those who have rejected God’s offer of forgiveness and salvation through His Son.
6. We strive to contribute to achieve greater unity in all that we do within the Body of Christ.
The Teens Aloud Love Mark
SEA BLUE
This signifies our global reach to all nations in obedience to Habakuk 2:14 which says that the knowledge of God will fill the earth like the sea. The knowledge of a God who saves through Jesus Christ is good news that every young person in every nook and cranny should hear.
WHITE
Contrary to popular opinion, we believe that many young people worldwide need the Lord who can cleanse their sin and make them white as snow. This hope spurs us on to go everywhere for young people. John 4:35-38
BLACK
Representing the reality of a young generation who are dead in their transgression and thereby only follow the ways of the world; the generation for whom God’s great love and mercy can make alive again. Ephesians 2:1-5
ORANGE
When you combine Red and Yellow you get orange. Red for us is the blood of Jesus which represents God’s Grace given to us in Christ (1 Corinthians 11:25). Yellow on the other hand represents the priestly status of royalty we are supposed to bring every young person to (Revelations 1:6).
