Passion Story I

Introduction

After six years in operation, we saw as a ministry, the need to add a spice of adventure to our prolific local evangelism and discipleship efforts as it were to allow us mainly to:

  • 1. Expand our unique style of reaching teenagers elsewhere
  • 2. Convince our Teenbuilders (College-age students who have been trained to build teens) to think seriously about developing a lifetime passion to build teenagers globally.

So, in July 2011, we embarked on our first international mission to The Gambia in West Africa with 15 missionaries. This followed in December 2011 with our Missions to South Africa and Swaziland (now Eswatini) with 3 missionaries. Since then, we have each year organised repeat mission trips to these countries whilst opening India and Uganda in 2013, Kenya and Nigeria in 2014 and many other countries in the years after. Over the years, Globewide Missions has brought in foreigners from other countries to Ghana for international missions as well. We aim to reach out to the entire world by sending missionaries to all parts of the world in order to fulfill the great commission as stated in Matthew 28:19-20.

Mandate

In fulfillment of the vision of Teens Aloud Foundation to take the life-giving message of Jesus Christ to the ends of the earth, this sub ministry creates opportunities across the world for young people to share their faith. We do this through local missions and international missions.
